    Hello Carl

    29 Nov 2007 - Thursday

Thank you so much for coming early, taking the time to explain the answer's to my question's and inquiry's, being thorough about the house inspection and for having such a nice personality to be around.

You helped to reassure our family's concern with any possible mold and your report/pictures is an answer to a much needed prayer concerning our overall health and what we need to do in repairing the area/s of our home that need's attention.

I picked your name out of hundred's of names simply because of; the "animal's" surrounding you in your picture on your web site, the story from "Good Housekeeping," and the information you supplied on your web site, that many of the other inspector's, simply did not include.

Have a most wonderful Christmas and may your business, life and loved ones be blessed in every way.

    God Bless you Carl

    Gordon and Flora

It’s about time we get some hard science, rather than soft emotion, into our industry!!

    Thanks.

Thank you for the information. It is very helpful to know that someone is working on trying to help control the hysteria re: mold.

As a Realtor for the past 13 years, and a former mycologist (not too many of us in the real estate industry).  have been amazed at all the misinformation about mold that circulates (no pun intended) in the real estate industry.  I always quote my favorite statistic about molds: "an average cubic meter of air at ground level anywhere on earth contains about 100,000 fungal spores" .

It is refreshing to get some accurate information in the face of all the hysteria about the subject.

    Good Morning Carl,

First off, just wanted to thank you for doing our inspection and explaining everything to us so thoroughly. After you mentioned that energy efficient appliances can sometimes be written into mortgages, I asked our mortgage broker about that option, and luckily it is available for us.
